Project 3 - Art Gallery, Shop/House : Initial Concepts

Yayoi Kusama's works are mainly internal installations, and are very controlled, as opposed to Andy Goldsworthy, whose sculptures are site-specific and usually in the natural landscape. Therefore it is clear that Kusama is very internalised and controlled while Goldsworthy is natural and more free-form.

Artificial vs. Natural
After using this notion and transferring it in regards to form, the idea of Solid and Void was developed. This concept forms the overall design of the gallery.
